This piece was inspired by a dream, and written at about midnight. I had to get up and write it, else I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. Whoo! I'd love help with this, I think the punctuation is in sore need of help. Thanks!

Also: This is written from his perspective, not mine. Why? Because my perspective in that dream situation is a lot more private.

So, softly did she come that night—
Just us two—
In the dress that she was born in.
Beautiful.

Her kisses soft upon my neck,
Shoulders, chest
Did make me shudder with delight—
So wondrous.

Her gentle hands caressed my skin
So softly
Then pushed me back against the wall
Quite firmly.

Her lips on mine, my breath did take;
She stole it
So gently though, I did not miss
My breath.

Oh wonders, then, her body close—
So near me—
I could not even think to move
From there.

Delicate, her touch is brief—
Oh greatness!
Her skin on mine, and all thought lost.
Oblivion!

2007-07-02 Morningstar Rising: Very nice.

2007-07-03 Askoga: Thank you!

2007-12-22 iippo: Wow, very intense! I especially like the line "In the dress she was born in".

2007-12-25 Askoga: Thank you very much! I liked that line, too. I had to fiddle with things to make it fit.
